Wednesday
- Weight: 53.9 kg.
- Workout: Nada.
Sent a message to Coach, telling him I would train at 4 PM. At first, he sent a message back saying, "Perfect." And then he sent another message saying that he had to be somewhere else at that time, which I never got, so I was surprised to find the gym closed when I arrived at 4:00.
So I walked over to good friend, Pepper Teehankee,'s house and this happened:
Grand opening of Raging Bull Chophouse at The Shangri-La at The Fort.
Thursday
- Weight: 55.2 kg. (- Oops. Drank way too many cocktails and ate too much steak!)
- Workout:
My former coach at Core Kineses, Nestor Hernandez, offered me a free workout on a new machine that they just acquired from Italy: Technogym's Skillmill. It's so new that, according to him, it doesn't even have a price yet. (The website says to ask for a quotation.)
It's like a treadmill without a motor, so you have to move and propel the conveyor belt through your own effort. Which should be easy enough - unless your coach increases the resistance to dog-pant level.
Nestor let me try out the machine first, and then he designed a circuit that alternated between the Kinesis machines and the Skillmill.
I was fully intending to go to do a workout with Coach Francis afterwards but Nestor's circuit totally wiped me out so I ended up having to cancel instead.
Friday

I really want a Kinesis machine in my house! (Internet file photo.)
Sunday

So that's it for now! Back to packing. This is Gai Olivares, signing out of Manila.
